Who we are

Regatta Roster is a crew-management app for sailboat racing teams. Questions about privacy: support@regattaroster.com.

Information we collect

• Account. Email and password (handled by Supabase Auth), plus the name you give us.
• Team data. Team and boat name, optional sail number, events, documents you attach, RSVPs, crew roster, roles, and notification preferences.
• Billing. Subscription status and Stripe customer or subscription IDs. Card numbers are collected by Stripe, not stored in our database.
• Race results. If an admin links a Jibeset regatta, we store public race documents and results so your team can see them in the app.
• Weather. Locations you pick on the weather map so we can show a forecast.
• Technical logs. Request path, timestamp, optional user id, IP address, browser, and approximate location from our host (Vercel). We use this for security and uptime, not ads. Request logs older than 90 days are deleted.

How we use it

We use this information to run the product: sign you in, show your team's schedule and RSVPs, send the emails you or your skipper asked for (invites, digests, reminders), take payment, fetch linked Jibeset data, and keep the service secure.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it with vendors that help us run the app:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payments
• Resend — transactional email
• Vercel — hosting and operational analytics
• Sentry — error reports
• Jibeset — only when a skipper links a regatta

Your skipper can see crew names, emails, and RSVPs for the team they manage. Crew see the roster and RSVP status for events on that team.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage for your login session. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights may set first-party cookies or collect anonymous usage data so we can see if pages are slow or broken.

Your choices

• Update your profile and notification preferences in the app.
• Unsubscribe from optional digest or reminder emails in settings.
• Ask us to correct or delete your account by emailing support@regattaroster.com. Your skipper can also remove you from the team roster.
• If you are in California or another place with similar privacy laws, you can ask what we have about you, ask us to delete it, or tell us not to sell or share it (we do not sell it).

Children

The product is built for racing teams and their adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above. The current version lives at /privacy.
